Haddington hockey club seeks players

Haddington Ladies Hockey Club are preparing to embark upon another season in the National and East District Leagues.
The club fields two teams in outdoor and indoor competition throughout the season.

The 1st XI play in National League 2 and last season narrowly missed out on promotion to National League 1 – the highest division in Scotland.

Success was also achieved on an individual level with two players from the team representing Scotland U-16s at the Home Nations Tournament.

The 2nd XI are a development squad and they play in East District Division 3.

Abilities

This team are an exciting and hard working group of players who play attacking fun hockey.

Both teams are looking for new players, particularly a goalkeeper, to join their ranks, with all abilities welcomed.

Training is on Mondays 6.30-8pm at Aubigny Astroturf, Haddington, and is open to anyone over the age of 14.

The club are also looking for a coach for their 1st XI and payment can be negotiated for the right candidate.
